I get this message that says
CMA-Run Time Error 2147217865

The Microsoft Jet Database engine cannot find the input table or query 'commands'.Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly.




WHAT DOES THIS MEAN I HAVE NO IDEA CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP I DONT KNOW MUCH ABOUT COMPUTERS BUT I'M TRYIN TO LEARN COMPUTERS NOW.I'M ABOUT TO BUILD MY FIRST COMPUTER.
OH YEAH DOES ANYBODY KNOW IF THE WESTERN DIGITAL 40GB 7200 RPM HARDDRIVE IS GOOD OR SHOULD I JUST BUY A IBM HARDDRIVE.

It would greatly help if you explained what was casuing that message to come up (what program were you running and what were you doing?).

Nothing wrong with Western Digital Drives, they're fine.

I prefer maxtor 8mb cache drives or WD specail edition 8mb cache drives, both have 3 year waruantees. That's all I curantly use and mostly maxtors.

As for 40gig, I'd say go for an 80 gig depending on you needs and future needs. I just bought drives and I think it was $57 for a 40gig or $71 for a 80gig WD. 40 gigs more for just $17 more, if you have it to spare.

If your like my wife, she has an 8gig and does lots of work, half that is empty, and at least one gig is my stuff. But if your like me, I have a 60, 120, 160,
I was happy with a 60gig, till I got back into video, capturing video and authoring dvds. Really eats the space! 10 gigs for one full DVD alone! nearly 5gigs for the original files and another 5gigs for the authored DVD files. Often I don't want to delete them right away, so I have tons in storage.

WD does have some good tools, I just revived a dead 30gig I got out of the trash, now I have a free working drive! Drive would not work with windows tools like scandisk etc.., but the WD tools and smart drive fix it right up, I installed 2k on it and all is well so far. Course I won't put anything important on that drive, it's old and was dead once, could happen again! I think the label said manufactored in 1999 or 98?
