I bought the soft :p , I still use RED but paid for FX and it isn't stable enough for me yet, still new

( RED is the older version FX replaced, FX is almost stable, it is for most people )

I dunno about PCHT but using the PC as a home theater box is not that hard and doesn't really need software. I have my comp hooked up to a Yamaha 6.1 receiver with a digital coax cable and i get full surround sound support. There are a few settings you have to tweak, like in PowerDVD I have to tell it to use SPDIF instead of regular sound card processing. This allows all sound processing for DVDs to be done using my receiver and not my NForce 2 processor. Pretty cool. But for front-end stuff and control, there is always the wireless mouse and keyboard to control everything. I believe you can even get remote controls that you can program to do stuff also.

*EDIT*

I also found this software: http://ruel.net/pc/tv.tuner.frontend.htm Looks like a basic program that has shortcuts.

now how about you add a 17" touch screen to that and make it a totaly pimp setup.

Oi, that's a sexy little thing there! The amazing thing is it's only like $380 - which isn't bad considering it comes with all that stuff + a wireless LAN. I'd love to get one to turn it into a HTPC!
