I've been getting these for days too. But I delete them using mailwasher before they get to my system.

You get it by opening an attachment in an e-mail. It could look like it comes from a friend or a company, or it could look like a returned failed message.
NEVER open any attachment from anyone you don't know.

Since moving in April 2003, I no longer have spam. Verizon assigned me my new accout which was created by them; therefore, I have no say as to the combindations of letters and numbers to access my email. At this time, I also created a free Yahoo account for anything that I do on the net. They also have excellent spam guard and virus scanning before you get your email. Even on Yahoo, I probably get only 1 or 2 spam per month, so I no longer need to use MailWasher (which was a great program when I used it).

I use yahoo also...but I got tired of always having to go to my browser and going to yahoo to open up my mail...I also needed a way to save my mail as space ran out...So I got YahooPops and I can download my email into Outlook. Thing is it doesn't save the bulk in a different folder unforunately.

Be sure to check your bulk mail in Yahoo and other accounts for important stuff too!
For some reason alot of good stuff is giong into bulk mail as spam, like the registration codes for a program I registerd and notices of topic replies from forums ocasionally.
I even found notices of payments received from paypal in my spam box at yahoo!!
Ya a new acount is great if you don't use it, but once you start using it look out! I got over 400 spams in what used to be my "good" e-mail address since the 4th of feb!

I know, YahooPoPs downloads all of your email recieved, including the Bulk folder into your inbox.
