Speakers

Post by MK888 »

Had a power hit over the weekend.... Now my speakers only output low end. The high end stuff is very faint in the backround, but the sub is booming. Tried it on two different machines, both with the same results. Something fried? Fixable? Any ideas?

What speakers? My previous ones did that and it was a loose connection on the sub (there was a power wire from the sub to the speakers.)

Klipsch 4.1 system. Checked all connections, and they are good. Re-seated them to be sure.

I got a response.... They want a flat fee of 50 bucks to fix the system. Have not decided yet. I might actually try to fix it myself. I will have to ship it to them I am sure, so that is going to cost a few bucks.
