newegg, once again, has come through. used their standard free shipping...ordered on friday afternoon and got it this morning. not bad at all!
picked up a Biostar M7NCD v2 mobo to replace the shuttle that i destroyed last week. this is my first NForce2 mobo...and also first Biostar. kinda ghetto, but the reviews say it's a solid, cheap board.
it has some interesting features that i'm anxious to try...Windows based overclocking utility that tests the o/c capability for you, saves the settings and allows you to pick. it does the test until the pc becomes unstable...then reboots to the highest stable o/c it found. probably doesn't work as nice as it sounds, but i'll try it for fun. hehe
