I have no Idea about Rambus and I have to upgrade a computer.
The computer currently has this configuration:

Bank 1: 64megs Module
Bank 2: Continuity Module

Bank 3: 64megs Module
Bank 4: Continuity Module

I would like to purchase two modules of 128megs each.
How would this configuration look with 2 - 128 and 2 - 64 sticks in it?
Would the 64s go together and 128 go together?

there is no problem to combine them as long as they have the same speed

I guess it's a Rambust dualchannel mobo and it'll be safest to just put the 128mb where the continuity modules are right now:

Bank 1: 64megs Module
Bank 2: 128megs Module

Bank 3: 64megs Module
Bank 4: 128megs Module

I doubt you could combine them as you like due to the dualchannel.

Will it be serving Malibu? oooo... I like Malibu.. he he.. just ribbin' ya duckie.. GL w/the ram issue, I know nothing about it, but it would seem to me if the continuity modules are only there to close the circuit? that adding two sticks in their place like doc said would do the trick.

The Continuity Modules are required in each free slot of a Rambus system. They work as a terminator. It's like the old BNC-networks or SCSI who also need a terminator to work properly.

It should work just fine as Doc suggested. I know because I went through this excerise a few months ago with my son's mobo. It had only 256 total on all 4 banks using 64 meg sticks. We got 2 256meg sticks and then used 2 64 meg sticks which equals 640 megs of total ram.
