DC Hub Problems.... anyone else?

Post by FlyingPenguin »

I'm getting a message that I can't logon to the hub because my IP is already connected 5 times.

I'm getting this on PCA and another hub I'm on all the time.

WTF?

DCC++ 0.3.03 - latest version.

I updated the other day. It worked after the update, but not since last night. May try re-installing.

I posted a mesage about it on the DC++ forums.

I would understand that error if you were in a dorm or something and it was an open Hub..

*Edit, a thought, could it be picking up your PC IP and not the WAN?

cause other people in the hubs could have the same IP that way....

Never been a problem before. Nothing's changed.

I'll play around with it.

that's true....
Hmmmm
are you in passive mode? or are you active?

I'm connected through my GF's computer so I had to set mine to passive(also helps through a firewall)
(when I'm set to active on the GF's comp I don't specify an IP)
Check what yours is set to

and doesn't the hub forget the IP address after you've logged out for awhile??

and further more... where can I find this PCA HUB! :D

hope my input helps any!

Never had a problem with public hubs, only the two private ones I use.

It just started working again all by itself so I have no idea what happened.
