Alright I have my Norton run scheduled virus scans twice a week at like 3 AM. Last night was it's scheduled night and it ran like normal but this time bringing up to Viruses.... One was removed with no problems and the other... Well it's called

Item Name: Virus Name: Status:
Belt.exe Download.Trojan Delete Failed

All efforts by norton failed. The fix, quarintine, and deletion. I'm not sure how to go about fixing it as I've not really delt with viruses that much. I updated my definitions and all that stuff. I'm open to suggestions. :( :mad :bonk :kookoo :fist :grr

go to symantec or mcaffee website for instructions - look it up in their virus databse - they also have tools for cleaning some viruses

desactivate norton and every service relationed with antivirus and then try to delete the file.
by the way check your services and be sure that belt.exe is not running . If so end the process also type msconfig into the run commnad and check that is not loading that sh*t during the start .

good luck and let us know. :D

basically symantec was useless, so I did the scan and watch it (it came up in the 1st 2000 files scanned) and I went to the folder and just manually deleted it. It didnt come up in any other scans so I'm pretty much hoping it's gone.
