Well i've been searching almost every minutes I wasnt at work for parts, prices and information.. Even if this isnt the forum to put this in I still thank everyone who helped out.. It will be put together around this time next week I'll let everyone know how it goes... Heres a list of specs below..

Epox 8RDA3+
Athlon XP 2500
KDS 17" CRT Flat Screen
WD 120GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache HD
Lite-On CD/CDR/CDRW 52X32X52
Alps 3.5 Inch Floppy Disk Drive
Arrow 500 Watt ATX Power Supply
512MB Corsair VS512MB400 512MB DDR400 PC3200 CAS2.5 (512 more coming later)
(ATI Radeon 9500 Pro coming soon)

I ended up geting the retail box for the XP 2500 only because I get a 3 year warranty with it for like 7 more dollars, I will replace the stock heatsink with a nice one very soon... All in all I think this will be a nice upgrade from my :o 1.2GHz Celeron lol my comp is just about a 2 and half year old compaq this will be a nice change... What do you guys think about this new system i'm building?

not bad, but I agree with the others in saying try to pick a better powersupply. Its the heart of any machine and you dont want to take top line parts and give them crap power.

And may i ask....why in the world do you need a 3.5 floppy for?? I thought they already went the way of the dinosaur :p

I would say go with a TruePower 350 or 400....not go trueblue or anything.

Antec TruePower 430W PSU for $76 plus $7 shipping at newegg. So for $83 you get PSU that is solid and reliable and probably better than that Arrow 500W PSU.

Ditton on the PSU - got with a quality unit like the Antec Tru series. It's worth the extra money. Cheap PSUs cause BSODs and tend to blow up unexpectantly.

nexus_7 recomended the PSU.. The case is a black chieftec/chenming it came with 2 exaust and 1 side window fan, I bought a Coolermaster blue led fan also... Also the reason I bought a floppy was cuz the motherboard and the Harddrive both came with floppys plus it was only $8 so what the hell? Also I have a few things on floppys...

Got news for ya. I have an Arrow 500W PSU in my kidz rig ( 1700+ @ 2.3 GHz / Shuttle AN35N-Ultra ) and it rocks. Relatively quiet too. :cool :
AMD Ph II X4 955 BE 3.2 @ 3.8 GHz | Scythe SCSMZ-2000 | ASRock 880GMH/USB3 | 8 GB G.Skill DDR3 1600 | Radeon HD5670 | Kingston 128GB SSD
