i have something very similar to that on a 1.4 ghz t-bird and it runs at 43 c idle but tbirds do run hotter then xp's

blade did a review on that HSF not too long ago.. It seems to be pretty good.. eGo

Try the SLK-947U Its a very good heatsink! i use one!
