I have been having this same problem with my last PC as well as with the rig I just built
the clock will once and awhile fall behind exactly 2 hours....
why does that happen???
it's a brand new motherboard, the batt. shouldn't be weak...
and it did that on my last mobo as well....
weird...

Is the time zone set correctly? Windows XP automatically adjusts the time and date according to the Time Zone setting.

The PC at work running Win2K does that too, as did the work PC before that one. I just run 'Atomic clock syn' on it and that keeps its time correct.

If it's a WinXP system there's a built-in atomic clock syncronizer.
