i got a new dvd burner

Post by Shadow250 »

hello, i got my new dvd burner a couple days ago and this thing is awesome. the software that came with it was crap though (no movie copy capabilities) but a trip to kazaa's software section fixed all that. now i got some great backups from my sony dru510a.

I have the Sony DW-U10A, which is the OEM version of the DRU-500A. nice drive indeed, and yes it has an ass sofware bundle (NTI? the hell with that!) I just bought Roxio 6 and that was that.

I also have the DW-U10A which says DRU500A in my Device Manager (firmware hack ;) ). I use a mixture of programs. Nero 6 for burning but like IfoEdit or DVD Maestro for making DVD movies.
