Ok guys.. I know how to tell by the stepping.. But here's a better question.. How can you tell if the place you're wanting to purchase it from (newegg) doesn't list the stepping? .13 micron is all I've been able to find.. And I can't seem to figure out what size process they were using for the A's vs. the B's.. TIA eGo

They are both .13 micron. I believe that all .13 micron XP processors are using the B-cores. I could be wrong.

- TbredA 2000+ 2100+ 2200+
- TbredB 2400+ 2600+ 2700+
- Barton 2500+ 2800+ 3000+ 3200+

Hmm..

Well, I have 2 Tbred B XP1700s and my source http://www.gameve.com no longer has them. So I'm trying to see if the ones on newegg for $49 are also B's.. But there's nothing that tells me this.. They dont' list the stepping, nor do they tell you whether it's an A or B.. I'm not really too worried about it right now.. And probably won't be (except when building for other persons) because my next CPUs will be Bartons.. But I thought maybe there would be a way for us to find out.. eGo
