got xp and xp pro on my pc how do i unstall the regular xp?

1. This should've gone into the OS Forum (unless you're talking about Athlon XP
)
2. We need a few more details on your current OS installation. Are both OS on seperate partitions or in the same ?

Huh, are both installations on C: and you have only one OS folder (WINNT) ?
XP and XP Pro are pretty much the same, XP Pro has only some additional features/drivers. So there's no real need to remove the regular XP when you have only one WINNT folder. You could just edit your BOOT.INI and remove the line for the regular XP and set the timeout to 0 ... the boot.ini is a by default hidden systemfile, so you would have to adjust your folder settings to see it in your root folder ( C: ).
You should also make sure that WinXP Pro is set to default under: My Computer / Properties / Advanced / Startup and Recovery.
Oh, you could also try first to only set XP Pro to default in that menu and deselect the Display list of OS for 30 sec setting.
