yah i know that you have to use fdisk but i have no bootdisk...can u help me with a rundown how to do it

put the XP CD in the drive while you are in Windows, it will try to install it, there will be a clean install option, it will boot into the setup and you can format the drive from there

When you select the partition to install XP into, the XP installer gives you the option to delete the partition first, or make new partitions.
