Does your case have the two headers of 5 pins each (usually with a spare ground), or the 9 seperate individual pins?
Just match them up to the pinout for the header in the manual. There's a ground, a Vcc (voltage), a -Data and a +Data (the abreviations for these vary, but they're usually something similar). Usually they'll be numbered 1 and 2 for each jack.
So Jack 1 will be Gnd1, Vcc1, +Data1, -Data1
Then there;'s sometimes 1 or 2 extra ground wires. Most mobos have a 9th pin for that. Just connect one of the grounds (if there's 2) to the spare ground pin and tie the other one out of the way.
It is rather important that you don't mess this up. If you put the Vcc on the wrong pin you'll smoke your USB peripheral.

I tried doing that with my 7DXR. I hope I didn't fry the extra USB header, because I must have hooked it in wrong. My BIOS got all buggy. Unhooking my front usb connector fixed everything. I coulda sworn my connections were right too.
