How many users are you going to serve? 50-100 ?
You don't really need duallies if it's only a small file/mp3/FTP server for your home with 3-5 users. That stuff does not require a lot of CPU power.

I am also going to use it for like a gaming server... When i am at home.. Its just going to be File/Mp3/ftp server for now..
and then when i go laning and stuff i can bring it as a server.. And i also want to have it a Gaming server at my house...
OH and also Please try and see if it can be Rackmountable.. possible 2u or 4u.

I don't think you need a duallie setup for what you want to do, and I believe Quake3 is the only game that supports SMP.
I have a duallie at home - 2 PIII-550mhz cpu's that crunch out movies. I use it to encode, as that operation normally takes me 10+ hours even with 2 cpu's.
The best person to ask would be Flying Penguin for game servers as I'm sure he has several, but I'm pretty sure he's going to say the same thing - you don't need a duallie for a game server.

If it really (and I mean REALLY REALLY) has to be a dually setup go and check the dedicated
2CPU forum, probably the best place to do some more research
