what size or type of screw driver is needed ?

to take the cover screws off a quautum hd the little ones under the warrienty stickers ?
i can get the phillips off but i want to open the panel and it has what looks like torx head screws .
the smallest i have are a no. 10 torx bit and screw drive and they are to big :(
if it matters its a old 10 gig . Quantun fireball cx hard drive ! (cx 10.0 oat 138224-001 )

i think you just might need a smaller torx.. that or use a dremmel and grind the head of the screw off.

not sure if models are the same, but i used either a torx 5, or a allen wrench. damn, wish i could remember =(

You might be able to open it with a jeweler's slot if it just fits between two opposite corners.

If it doesn't have to look pretty, use a dremel wheel to cut a slit in the head of the scre and use a regular slot on it.
