Hey Guys.. The manual says this thing, the base, should be about 8 inches away from any electronics.. Is this a really big problem? I'm curious as to whether or not that much space will really be available at the LAN or not as well. Just curious.. As I know there are about 8 of you who have them as well, thought you might know..

when I was "testing" one that a friend had me buy for him and then ship it to Canada, I had it right under my monitor and it had no issues....

Monitors are adequately shielded.
What may cause a problem is the power supply for a flourescent lamp fixture.

yeah you saw where my keyboard and mouse one was, ive never had any issues with em either.
