Hey there everyone, I wanted a second opinion befor i tried to RMA this board to asus. An Asus A7N8x with 512mb of Samsung pc2700 (1 dimm), a Geforce 2, an AMD Athlon XP 2400, onboard sound, onboard networking, 40gb WD hD, enermax PSU, and a modem... anyway, recently the modem stopeed working, it wont dial, friend bought a new modem, worked for a day, then wont dial, switched pci slots, worked for 2 days, wont dial, switched pci slots, on the third try, it worked again, for a day, bought a new modem, returned old one, worked for 2 days, switched slots, many times, only works in the slot next to the AGP, which shouldnt be, since the first Pci slot ir rumored to be taken up by the AGP irq? anyway, been working there for a week, but wont work in other slots... flashed the bios, swapped the ram, installed new mobo drivers, installed new modem drivers, anyone disagree with the RMA deal ? Thanks again guys !


Oh yea, and it i using windows XP Professional
