heh, built a new PC & sold my old parts to a friend. Had to transfer all my old stuff to his case and all my new stuff to my case. Both started up fine
I remember in my good 'ol days, the probability was not that high
So, my new system:
Biostar M7NCG (microATX)
1GB Corsair PC3200
AthlonXP 2500+ (1.8GHz) w/SK6 Heatsink
WD 120gig 8meg cache drive
Radeon 8500 (not the newest but it plays everything I throw at it fine)
onboard sound/lan (decided to ditch my SBLive...nor more queer problems!)
Samsung 52x24x52x16 (reads/writes cd's, & reads dvd's--one of those combo drives)
Reason I'm stickin' with small components is that I'm planning to build a case out of wood, with the help of my dad. Hopefully will be bringin' it to the PCA LAN party. It'll be my main rig, instead of my "huge" Lian Li
I must say, I really like this nForce board so far. Everything installed EXTREMELY smooth. All I did was install windows, pop in the disc that came with the motherboard, clicked on a single item to install everything (onboard lan, audio, USB, etc) and that was it!
