All the parts arrived a couple days ago. The parts were from an HP Pavilion.
List of Parts:
900MHz Athlon Classic Slot A w/ Golden Orb HSF
Asus K7M OEM motherboard for HP
2x128megsPC100
Asus TNT2 AGP 32meg
Creative PCI sound card
10/100 PCI NIC
56k Winmodem
HP Multimedia USB keyboard
HP Recovery CDs
All the above for $60 shipped.
Parts that I had:
400w CompUSA PS
old two button PS/2 mouse
IDE cables
Freebies a Co-worker gave me:
8.5 gig ATA33/7200rpm Seagate HD <--- no errors after a low level format
36x US Drives CD-ROM
NEC 4x4 MultiSpin 4 disk CD-ROM (might use this to play with)
The seller of the parts said it had reboot problems after it warmed up, I played with it for about two hours and no problems with it.
All was assembled and sitting on my desk without a tower. Now I need to find a cheap tower for it so that I can get it on the Folding Wagon.
Not too shabby for what I spent on it.
