Spec Fest!!

Post by Sean »

I haven't seen one of these in a while. So...lets get some specs posted here!! :)

My Current Main Rig:

AMD Athlon XP 2100+ @ 1995 MHz (150*13)
Cooled by ThermalRight AX7 with 80mm speed adj. fan
Gigabyte GA-7DXR (AMD 761 Chipset) - Got Zalman NB Cooler on northbridge (recently reattached it with Alumina Compound (the zalman stuff let is fall off! ;) ))
1 GB Corsair PC3200 LL Platinum (running at 2-2-2-5 timings)
Retail Radeon 8500 64MB - Still handles great!
Philips Acoustic Edge - (SoundStorm sounded much better when it worked for a few days.. ;) )
Intel NIC
Main HDD - IBM 60GXP 40GB 7200 RPM - Still running strong for nearly 2 years
Sec. HDD - Maxtor 20GB 7200 RPM - I've been using this for another XP Parition (a clean one) so I can test my computer with a clean install.
Toshiba 48X CDRom / 16X DVD Rom - I think its dieing, it won't read in windows anymore, but I can still boot from it?
Lite-On 52x24x52 CD Burner - Using this as my main CD Drive right now. No coasters yet!
All this inside my sweet Antec Case - really heavy though. I wish I could get an aluminum frame without having to redo my mods.. :( My case has 2 92mm fans in front and 2 in back. I cut the
holes and everything, and cutting those antec cases isn't easy either. ;)
Powered By: Enermax 350 W PSU - Lowest I've seen the 5v rail is 4.99 - usually around 5.04 ;)

Can't think of anything else, but this 0248 2100+ would be running at 2.4 GHz if I had my A7N8X deluxe, which I have been too lazy to RMA. I hope to get it out today (I just hope I get another rev 2 :-\)

So, let the spec fest begin!!! :D

Greg, what are you changing the Asus board to down the road? Don't like it? (Is it the A7N8X Deluxe?)
