I was originally gonna get a gig of Kingston PC3200 @ newegg ($174 for two 512mb). However, I can get a gig of "GeIL" for $138 but I've never heard of 'em. Anyone care to fill me in?

[edit]
oh yeah, spec wise they are identicle--both are PC3200, 2.5cas & 512mb per stick.

From what I have read I would say go with the Kingston. Seems many people tend to have issues with the Geil ram. From what I have read the Geil ram seems to be either or, they love it or hate it. On the other hand have never heard anything but good about the Kingston.

I've heard that Geil ram is made by ocz, so beware. Also most the of the time when newegg has ram in the refurbishhed area, it's usually geil.
