just out of curiosity before I start messign around with the systems, but which would be better

for gaming and folding


intel pentium 3 700mhz (slot processor overclocked to 945mhz)
Asus p3v4x motherboard

or

Amd Duron 1.1ghz
MSI k7t266pro


There will be 384mb of pc133
and either a gf2 mx200 or a voodoo 5 5500


so out of those 2 choices, which would be better?

duron hands down. it isnt that great at folding but with the extra 400mhz that should more then make up for it. That and it has a far newer chipset.

ok, then I guess I will rebuild that system to ditch the p3. It will give me a chance to finally swap out those "hand made" rounded cables and put in some better ones so the air flow is better

If you're gonna toss the p3, you can send it to me. beacuse I'm so nice, I'll pay shipping.

I'd also have to say the Duron. But, I'm not sure.. :-\

actually look me up if you off that p3, i have a use for it
