S-Video out adapter ?

I am looking for a S-Video to RCA adapter. But it is on a Toshiba Laptop, and seems that Laptop manufactures decided to use a totaly different plug then the regular S-Video. Regular has 4 small pins, Laptops have a row of 4 and one of 3 plus a flat pin. I cant find one anywhere. I got one with my Dell when I bought it. But I can not spare it, so I need to find an other one for my friend with the Toshiba.
I checked Dell or Toshiba but they dont sell them, they want you to buy some 200 dollar part that would run over your serial port and also connect sound to the TV. Why so complicated if everything can be done with 2 adapters and some RCA cables that cost may be 10 $.
So if anybody has one of them adapters laying around and has no use for it let me know. Or if you know of a company selling them any info would be apreciated. Thanks

Go To RadioShack..

They have them there for $20.. I had to get one to convert the S-Video to Composite (RCA).. Just tell them you want an S-Video to Composite adapter.. They'll take care of you.. eGo

if it would be that easy I would have it allready, I checked Radio shack, Future shop, Staples, London drugs and local computer store. Sorry we dont carry that kind of adapter, but we have that 200 $ thing that does the same thing as your 20 $ adapter just more complicatet. :)

Ok.. How about this?

I dont know how many hours i already wasted looking for that stupid thing.
On the page it says that this adapter is only for Dell inspiron models (what mine is) and doesnt work on other ones. But my adapter worked on the Toshiba.
