When you plug in a DV camera in XP you get the same sort of Autoplay menu you get when you put in a CD. I inadvertantly selected an app as the default (and this app is a P.O.S.) and now I would like to either change it, or better yet disable the feature entirely. It's annoying to have this app fire up every time I plug in the camera.

I've tried a google search but found no clues. Tried the properties settings for the camera in my Computer, but that doesn't have anything.

Any ideas?

I haven't used a DV yet but while it's plugged in, go to "My Computer" and right click on that drive icon, then select "auto play". There you may be able to change what it opens with. Might not work, but may as well try.

Nope - there is no autoplay setting for it in properties. That's the first thing I went looking for.
