what motherboard do you have? I had the problem with having to press restart twice when I had a netgear NIC (FA113 I believe is the model) and an EPoX 8K7A+....it was a known issue after I started looking into it. Don't know if it carries on with other epox boards or not, since I just put threw the card aside after I upgraded to an EPoX 8K5A2+(which has an onboard NIC).

no it wasnt overclocked. it did it today too. once it gets warmed up it seems to act ok. i blew the dust out and reseated the ram. hopfully this will cure it. er i dont seem to have any square purple things on mine.

in the interest of completeness, the blowing the dust out and reseating the ram seems to have worked. no rebooting for 2 days so far.

good good. My main pc does that sometimes as well. But only with 2 sticks of ram in it. Dont know why. I have tried multiple sizes and brands but to no avail. I guess I'll just have to deal with it.
