Cuz i just ordered one and although i can cancel my order if needed, i'd rather not.
Anyways... i placed an order for this LCD Monitor after reading the RAVE review it got from PC Gamer. They said it was pretty damn good for an LCD if you are a gamer, and i am.

17 inches, flatpanel for around 550$, sure i'll buy one.

Anyways, after i placed my order i read a customer review and the guy was pissed!!! He said the monitor was fast and had great features and all that etc etc... but then he said it's ONLY 16 bit or something like that. Going on to say it can only support 244 thousand colors while the 32 bit's can do like 44 million.

So my question and/or dilemna here.
What do i do???

I mean its ok if this monitor is gonna be FAST for an LCD, but not if the colors look like crap.
Any suggestions??

I've searched ALL over and could only find that one review :(

Preciate any help.

Apparently it's true. Here's the specs on Hitachi's site: http://www.hitachidigitalmedia.com/view ... rlnumber=0

However, unless you're planning on doing publishing quality work in Photoshop, I doubt you'll ever notice (and besides, anyone doing publishing quality work should be using a CRT anyway).

Since PC Gamer likes it, I'd say that's a pretty good recommendation.

PC Gamer's hardware guy is somewhat of an idiot, I don't really trust his opinions (the GeFarce FX got an editors choice award for god sakes). However, I doubt that you'll notice the difference in quality on that LCD, since I've read that its one of the better ones out there, even though Anandtech's review of it was rather mixed.
