Epox 8K9A3+ . How do i get it to go over a bus of 333?

Post by knightofnee1112 »

Hi everyone, I bought this epox mobo, and I was well aware that it wouldn't allow a bus over 333MHz due to it's missing 1/6 ratio devider thingy-mo-bob. and so it would OC my AGP and PCI bus way over the limits. I am now wondering if I could update the BIOS, if that would enable that radio, and more.

Thanks!

I have an 8K9A2+ and have the same problem. Nice mb but no support for over the 333 so not much point in having the 400 chipset. I guess the unlocking of the ratios for my B t'bred 2400 is nice but it doesn't do much over stock right now.

You should check over at http://www.amdmb.com to see if anything is new but all the epox support seems to be going to the 8rda+ now.
