is it just me or is MSI's quality on motherboards getting worse? I admit, they never were the best, but they used to be pretty stable, and you would hardly have a problem with them if you werent overclocking. but my last few sucked hard. I have had 3 MSI K7N2L boards, the Nforce 2 version, and now all 3 have died on me for no apparent reason! I have a 450 watt enermax so its not a power problem. I think I am going to get a new Nforce 2 board now, so someone gimme a suggestion of the best most reliable. and I may aswell get a good overclocking board too!
Which one would you choose????? A7N8X DELUXE, or the EPoX 8RDA+??
Epox 8RDA+

Seems to be the way to go, WvJohn and Predator have them, and they say that they OC very well. Check out the Overclocking portion of the forum, there are several posts by members who have the board. Here's a
link to just one of them.

I have 3 8rda+'s at the moment - none of them have given me the slightest problem - easy to set up, stable, etc.

I have the asus. Its a solid board. I don't know about overclocking though. I can't seem to do it on any board.

Go gigabyte instead. How bout a KT400 chipset, onboard 6 channel digital sound, NIC, Serial ATA, ATA133, ATA133 RAID, Firewire, USB2.0, and Smart card and digital media headers all for around 130$?
Check it out
I think most are....

I haven't had any problems, but I'm not a hardcore overclocker or anything (Just use gigabyte's BIOS "Top Performance" setting which I believe is a 10% overclock) or I just got lucky maybe lol.
Have 2 of em tho, and both seem nice and stable, more so then my Asus boards, then again it could also be I finally stopped using "Uncle Bob's Power Supply Company - 1000watt PSU for only $3.99" PSU's and switched to enermax and antec. hehe

Judg3: the Asus A7N8X Deluxe has on-board 6 channel digital sound (some argue it's better than the C-Media), dual NICs, Serial ATA RAID, ATA133, Firewire, and USB 2. Oh plus it has dual channel memory, given dual channel doesn't increase preformance too too much it does some.
