Serial ATA?

Post by Absolut Talent »

is this widely availible now?

I just noticed that I have it on my new mobo, but i didnt know much about it. Can you only hook up one HD to a channel? will you be able to hook up dvd, cdroms, etc.... via the serial ATA as well?

can you use serial ata and IDE HDs at the same time?
Gone for good. But never say never

Drives NO, Mboards with plugs Yes. Not worth it at this time for drives though as they dont proform any better then normal ata drives.
