Just curious. Never tried it. I know the standard versions of NAV and McAfee don't.

i hate AVG! I had AVG and nortons on my win2kpro box. I was running an HTTP server at the time. Blackice picked up what said was codered. So I let AVG scan, and it doesnt find anything! Blackice picked it up AGAIN. So then I had AVG and nortons scan. Guess what? AVG didnt find it yet norton did. I dont trust AVG anymore. Yeah codered wound up hosing my system. had to reinstall. Luckily i had backups of the http folder that was on it.

I know some people are doing it, but all AV publishers will tell you that you shouldn't be running two AV programs on the same system.

There can be conflicts in the way they hook into the system for background scanning.

I've definately seen problems when running McAfee and NAV on the same system.
