the ANTEC TRUE430 to be exact. i needed a bigger one to power all of the lights, fans, cathode tubes, etc.
hopefully it's as cool (no pun intended) as the reviews.

I was just reading about this one, scored a bit higher than the enermax & a couple other high end units.
Hope it works out for you.

I have a 480 Watt True Power and love it... Have a Vantec Stealth here i need to put in and see how it does... Its only a 420 but i like the black look of the vantec's and teh adjustable fans are a major plus for me...

yeah just dont touch the capacitors

I dont know why everyone is so scared to open a PS. As long as u dont touch nothing but the fan u'll be fine!

Hehe, i've touched them any times

Doesn't hurt, just feels really weird, like when you touch the end of coax that is live; it just covers your hole body and lasts longer

I've opened a few old PSU's and removed the fans with no problems at all.

i got the PS today from newegg...took 3 days.
installed and all is running well. the PS is very quiet (easily drowned out by my cpu fan). the temp in my case dropped a whopping 4C under load (from 51C down to 47C) and 42C idle.

Congrats!
I love the Antec True power supplies. One thing I wish they included was a manual override for the fans. But that will be an option in their newer versions which they are working on now,
see here. The TrueControl versions.
Front panel manual fine control over the +12, +5 and+3.3 voltage lines
Front panel manual fan speed control
Damn!
