I need my resolution to be 1400x1050 cuz thats the native resolution for my lappy screen. But the new Nvidia drivers dont have that as an option. Any Ideas?

That looks like its for Linux. I'm using windows xp pro. I looked at tweakxp.com and it had something but it didnt work. Told me to modify a string in the reg. but it just defaulted back to the closest res. wouldnt stay on the one i picked.

If this is a lappy you should continue using the drivers that came with it because it's probbaly customized for that lappy's screen.

Well the original drivers crap out in my games! I mena the drivers are fine minus the optimal resolution. Is there an INF in the driver files I can modify?

Couple of suggestions:
- Check the laptop manufacturer's website for an updated driver.
- Try going back to the original drivers and then see if there's a driver update available from Windows Update. That driver *might* be better suited for your laptop.
- Check this site for a driver listed under your laptop brand and model:

Hope this helps...

Yeah Toshiba only has the 28.xx for my gf4. Very outdated..Oh well I'll just deal with a tad bit of blur.

Have you tried Powerstrip? I think it lets you manually change your resolution..
