Anyone know how to get into the bios of a Emachine? There is a jumper on the mother board that either enables or disables cmos setup. It's set to enable but I don't know which key to smash to get into the bios.

These things are the biggest POS there are. :( I have better parts in my junk drawer. :D

Some bios require that you hit F2 I know it sounds weird. If that doesn't work, try hitting esc as soon as it boots to clear the boot screen and see what it says.. F10 might do it too.. You could always just try hitting all the F keys.. lol. eGo

Thanks, I'll try what was suggested. My guess is that you have to do some 50 odd key combos before you can get into the bios. :)

Got it. You have to hit tab before the splash screen and then del.

whaa? You didn't have to stand on one foot, tapping your hand on your head while the other pounds the keyboard? I'm surprised :D
