I have two computers (1 & 2) connecting to a network. 1 & 2 can both connect (ping) to the router, and can both connect (ping) to a server that I also have on the network. A & b cannot connect (ping) to eachother. I have tried removing the TCP/IP protocol and reinstalling it, and this does not fix the problem. Anyone heard of this or have ideas on what I can try next?

ok. 1 are you runing DHCP?
2 if not then manually assighn IPs to the macahins as follows.
ip 192.168.0.*** (***=002-254 give each machine a differnt last 3 digits)
subnet mask 255.255.255.0 (on every machine)

Installing NetBUEI on all machines will probably clear up your problems, too.
If any of these machines are connected to the 'net, you should definitely install NetBUEI, and unbind file and printer sharing from TCP/IP...
