The final XP Tweak Q: "accelerated" menus

Post by TruckStuff »

This is my final beef with XP. I have noticed that when you scroll down a long menu, it scrolls very slowly at first then picks up as if there is some kind of menu "acceleration." Looked around tweakxp.com and didn't see anything. Any reg hacks to fix this?

I've never noticed that in XP.

You sure it isn't a "feature" of your mouse driver? I know for a fact that there's a checkbox for wheel acceleration in the MS Intellimouse driver.

Yeah, I turned that off the other day and I still have this problem. I think FrontPage calls them Drop down boxes that allow multiple selections if that helps you understand what I am talking about.
