I don't want to throw them in the trash, but I have a couple of nice lappies (a P2 Gateway and a P3 WinBook) with dead mobos. I'm sure the LCDs, DVDs, etc are worth something to someone but I don't want this stuff sitting in the garage for a year.
Anyone know of a forum that's specifically for selling used lappy parts? Or a company that buys dead lappies for parts?
Can anyone suggest where I can sell some dead laptops?

Christians warn us about the anti-christ for 2,000 years, and when he shows up, they buy a bible from him.

What are the specs on the P2? I have an old lappy that works (most of the time) and I've been looking for an older lappy with some good parts to experiment w/upgrading my current lappy, and I also need a new 3.5 as the one I have is working really weird. Let me know what you'd be asking too.. eGo

If you still got them and they are cheap you can email me too.
I don't have any real use for them if anyone else does, but I might like to play with em, take em apart and see how they're made type thing.

Unknown unless I take them apart.
Trust me - you can't mix and match LCDs. You have to get one that matches your laptop. If you're thinking about using one as a replacement for a monitor forget it - these things aren't RGB analog.
