I got a new mini cold cathode to installi n my case and so whe I installed the switch, I tipped the case on it's back to hot-glue it into place. Well, when I did this I saw the smallest screw fall down to the back and then it got caught on a capacitor... ...I'm glad I saw this but what I'm wondering is where it even came from? Just recently I took everything out and put it back and I would have noticed something like this I would think? Specially considering my case is alluminum and this screw is a shiny brass so its not like it would have blended in to well (keep in mind I was cleaning this case inside and out since I had to get a new mobo anyway).

Well, one less thing to cause problems in my case :)

I've used nothing but lian lis for over a year now and as much as I love them there is one thing I've noticed.

Aluminum drivebays flex more than steel ones and it's very common for hdd/cdrom screws to just pull out over time...might wanna check your drives
