how do you avoid cuts on pc cases?

Yesterday i was freaking opening a computer case and i was taking out floopy from drive , it was kind of jammed so i pulled it hard. I was able to get it out but i ended cutting the bottom of my thumb theres lots blood everywhere. It was so serious i had to go to the hospital, the hard part was freaking trying to drive to hospital in car thats manual. Is it me or most manufacturers make cases with lots of sharp corners and edges.
Want to hear your thoughts what are your safety tips for avoiding cuts when gutting out and old system out of a case and replace it with new parts.

when something gets stuck and i need to use force, i've learned to use a tool such as a screwdriver or a popsicle stick
i started doing this after bleeding all over a heatsink one time

i dont buy cheap cases that have the sharp edges. I just find other ways to cut my self.

i mean its total bs i have cut myself rarely but not as deep as yesterday. I got stiches, when doctor was stiching it , i was in so much pain. I think my next car will be automatic instead of manual, i mean it was freaking difficult trying to shift gears and to steer. I guess its part of learning, Cheap Cases=Cuts, Nice moderate case = No Cuts.

hmmm. i've got 2-3 'cheap' cases and never had a problem. guess im just lucky.
as for the sharp corners and chit, just take ducttape
adds a whole new level to case modding, hehe.

Cheap cases have sharp edges. Fact of life. I can't tell you how often I get sliced doing repair work.
Some of these things are razor sharp.
I would recommend you put some tape over any sharp edges. Scotch tape will do. Run it lengthwise across the edge and fold it over it liek you would if you were taping a razor before disposing it.

Eh, don't feel bad now. I just screwed up my knucke from hitting a fan. Wouldn't stop bleeding--I can't believe I actually needed a band-aid. I guess the fact of buying an expensive case that doesn't have sharp edges doesn't stop the fact that I'm stupid and my fingers were near spinning fans
