8K7A and XP chips don't get along.... I've read too many bad things about that board and XP's had one myself that would give me every error under the sun with a 1700+

Just kill hte mobo... I rma'd mine to newegg and they refunded some of the 120 i paid for it originally. The Epox 8K3A is a damn good board to get. My 1600+ is running 1.83 Gig on one. Iwill XP333R is a good one to get and its not a Via board so thats a plus.

I'd have to agree with Pred...almost everything you have is good quality schtuff...even ATI wouldn't drop an error dialog like that (at least, maybe not since the Rage series...)

I'd say it's the mobo, too (never had an Epox...I'm an Asus man, myself. Been using them since the T2P4)

Ok, I've had it! Everything in UT2K3 is set at Normal and software sound. I'm still having problems. Time for a new MOBO. I'm going to put some blow holes (9mm) in the old one. :D
