hey thanks. and its good to be back. I'm new to this DDR stuff and this P4 stuff. Whats the difference between PC2700 and 2100 or 1600? Is it along the lines off pc66-100-133? Than what does the 333mhz mean? and whats the deal with the P4's supposed 533mhz bus?

PC2700 = 166MHz FSB (2x166 = 333)
PC2100 = 133MHz FSB (2x133 = 266)
PC1600 = 100MHz FSB (?)

just a suggestion but you can probably find a 1.6a for about the same price as a 1.5 willy...

the a denotes a northwood stepping....13die to the willies .15 and 512k l2 to the willies 256

that extra l2 is a godsend....

my 1.8a does 2.5 without even trying....gotta love the northwoods
