hey guys
im looking for an affordable laptop just to use for word processing and surfing the net. here in canada, the lowest priced dell and ibm laptops are $1700 and up. i just want something i can use to lie in bed and type essays and surf the net (im so lazy). i found a few refurbished ones for relatively cheap....

i don't have the cash to spend a lot....
do you guys know any really cheap places where i can find a decent laptop for cheap?
oh, and how hard would it be to add an ethernet adaptor? all laptops have some sort of slot for expansion correct?

dell and gateway usually have really good deal on there refurb laptops...maybe check them out.

i think tomorrow's their last day so they might have some items they wanna get rid of...

i cant really think of any good canadian stores to get laptops...i got mine off ebay but u r gonna have to look long and hard for a deal off there

I've seen some very nice laptop deals going through agora lately

maybe youll find something from the Canada FS/FT forum here?
