Did you try running scandisk? Or do a full virus scan?

In the Device Manager, expand Disk Drives, dbl click on your hard drive (i.e. "Generic IDE disk"), go to the settings tab and make sure the box for 'Removable' is unchecked. Probably not the culprit, but with Windoze, you never know...

Hope this helps.

Sometimes the recycling bin gets corrupted.

- Do a scandisk

- Right click on the recycling bin, select properties and disable it for all drives.

- Then open My Computer, go to View->Folder Options->View tab. Check "Show all files". Close that.

- Now double click on the C Drive icon in My Computer and you should see a folder called "Recycled". Delete it.

- Do this for all drives if you have more than one.

- Open My Computer, go to View->Folder Options->View tab. Check "Do not show system or hidden files".

- Now right click on the recycling bin, select properties and enable the bin for all drives.

Needless to say you will lose everything in the bin.

Hope this helps...
