I seriously doubt that it will ever happen. Ever heard of invasion of privacy. Even if its written in the EULA who is gonna buy or install it. I'll rid my house of computers before i buy any MS software that has anything of that sorts in it. If i want to copy movies and music for my own personal use that is my right. If they don't like it they can kiss my ass...

oh crap i wish i didnt read that. im gonna be pissed for a week now. the greed that motivates pallidium astounds me, if that goes through im never buying another pc. like mirosoft dont make enough money. ill theoretically use my pireted copy of win98 on my pirated computer to burn stolen cds from my pirated mp3s and dvd's and also write trash about bill gates and whoever else i want to trash.
