Just got a 512megPC2700 Samsung on Thursday. Put it in and Sandra shows it as Xerox. I bought it as Samsung PC2700. It does have Samsung chips on it and the Sandra mem bench showed it to be worse than the Crucial PC2100 that I had before. I benched it at 133 and 166 with about the same results. Anyone else have a Samsung 512megPC2700 that shows as Xerox ?
Unlock that tbred and run the actual FSB at 166 you'll see a performacne gain my scores at 133 are like 2000/1900 166 is 2300/2200... the async does nothing for performance as the FSB of the XP is the bottleneck when the ran is running in async. so u won't see any performance gain.
