I WON this little bad boy.

Image

Got it and a 1g celeron (II) <--what ever the hell that is?

Here is how it lays out

1g celeron2
512 pc150 sdram
GF4 MX 420 pci
60g Maxtor
40x tdk burner
everything else onboard.

So far I added 2 50mm fans to the front intake as it comes with Nothing, using a rounded cable to run both the hd and cdrw (same cable), and have a cak2 68 on the cpu...Oh and added a handle of course. :)

There isnt much else I can do to the system...I guess I could get one of those 1.26 mhz 512k tulitans but I DONT plan on spending the over $200 price tag for a Looser cpu.

I would liek to get one of those cdrw/dvd drives for int instead...but $$ is tight.

That celeron you got is pretty much a the old P3 256k l2 cache and its the tualatin core... Good lil overclockers u could probably go 1.33 with it easy if that board supports oc'n. The Tualatins from the benchs i've seen are actually a little faster than an athlon of the same speed. Intel should have stuck with those instead of the P4's... lol Those lil systems would be sweet for a home ET rig or a nice lil lan box :D

so whats the tualatin core do for me?

Ill get some Pics once it is al ldone and neatened up and what not. Not much to look at though...and there isnt much air flow. ;(

With my 2 50mm fans i nthe front...they jsut blow air directly AT the PS which is also in the front, and there is one 60mm fan on the back sucking air out....and it is above the cpu blocked in by the HD and the cdrom. Not the best design, but it works.

The tualatin core is .13u P3 :D good overclockers and don't take much voltage. When the P3 went to .13u core the P3 got 512k cache and the celeron got 256k l2 cache... the celeron is still a little crippled but performs a lot better than their old 128k brothers.
