Is it just me? I'm noticing a lot of people having problems with corrupt BIOS settings lately. Both here on the forums, and some of my clients. Systems won't POST and you need to clear CMOS to reset it.
It seems like there's a LOT of this happening lately. Anyone else notice? I'm beginning to wonder if there's a BIOS virus going around I haven't heard about.
Okay, what's up with all the BIOS problems lately?

I Had to reset/clear mine the other night. I still pretty sure it was something I set wrong though.
I think I upped the voltage just a tad, disabled floppie, and something else not important like set the time.
Then I did not get a beep, or video the next day, althought the fans, a drive, and the M/b LED all worked.
I did all the stock stuff except reset the cpu, even swaped video cards, nothing. Cleared cmos and first try I got beep and video, then had to redo my cmos settings again.
It was strange because I don't think I even changed anything to do with the actual system or video settings, just floppie and bumped the CPU voltage up one notch! I did the cpu becuase the Hardware monitor showed it at only 1.74 or so, a little less than stock, and I only went to 1.80 I think.
I even rebooted several times after making the changes that night, though it was a reboot, not a hard power off. Then after the Power off shutdown the next morning it did not have video!
