Rounded Cables

Post by JonasWorld »

I remember rounding your own IDE and foppy cables was popular about a year or so ago. I also remember people experiencing data corruption and crosstalk from cutting wires and what not. Well, I just picked up some rounded cables from Cooler Master. I put then into my system a couple hours ago. I have not noticed any decrease in temps, but they do look pretty damn cool! Do you think I will experience any problems with manufactured rounded cables? Even though they look cool, the first problem I have with them and they're out.

Na, with store bought ones you dont have much to worry about. Just enjoy them.

like most people, I bought mine for looks. Plus its easier to work with them inside the case. I've rounded my own cables as well and not had any problems with them either (haven't tried the 80-wire ATA100 ribbons and I don't think I will ;) )
